Location: Nation Wide (West Midlands - Manchester base)
About The Role
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of Key account contracts. This includes reviewing the portfolio regularly, identifying and actively managing priority accounts, understanding customer and business needs, and building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and decision makers.
* Managing a portfolio of 15-20 Key Accounts.
* Prioritising the key account portfolio to ensure return on investment and growth.
* Identifying and converting growth opportunities to deliver measurable growth at targeted accounts.
* Developing and managing the key account plan.
* Engaging with customers through face-to-face visits and quarterly business reviews, building strong relationships with stakeholders and decision makers.
* Understanding contractual commitments to the customer.
* Reporting monthly on portfolio status, including budget performance, renewal status, and opportunity/risk profile.
* Successfully renewing customer contracts at the end of their term.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Weekly hours: 40
Breaks: 1 hour
About You
* Experience in sales or account management.
* Degree qualified or equivalent relevant qualification and industry experience.
* Proven track record in identifying and converting growth opportunities.
* Ability to present, engage, and negotiate at a senior level.
* Experience in contract negotiation.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Effective at all levels of communication.
* Self-managed and motivated, responsible for own deliverables.
* Strong customer focus, able to meet customer needs and business goals.
* Good financial and business acumen, organisational skills.
