CER are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our network of support staff for schools in the Doncaster & Scunthorpe area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping students with their learning, development, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support to teachers, helping students with their learning.
* Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
* Offer 1:1 or small group support to students, potentially including those with special educational needs (SEN).
* Help to maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
* Support students in their personal, social, and emotional development.
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour when required.
* Monitor and record student progress as directed by the class teacher.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (essential).
* A passion for supporting young people in their learning and development.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards learning.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
