Key Responsibilities As an Associate Data Business Analyst, you’ll: Support the delivery of key data initiatives, products, and projects within your squad and across teams. Gather and document detailed business and data requirements under supervision. Analyse business goals and translate them into actionable data insights. Assist in identifying data platform capabilities and system requirements. Contribute to testing and tracing the implementation of requirements. Promote data democratisation by helping teams understand the value of data in decision-making. Perform gap analysis to identify dependencies, effort, and cost implications. Champion best practices in data governance, security, and operational procedures. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about data and eager to learn. You’ll bring: Essential: Experience in a similar role, a data-related apprenticeship, or a relevant undergraduate degree. A basic understanding of stakeholder management and the ability to communicate clearly with support. Awareness of business process and data modelling techniques. Familiarity with project management and agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban). A curious, analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Awareness of data quality validation and the ability to spot basic data issues. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Desirable: Understanding of cloud technologies and data tools. Experience with SQL, DAX, or analytical languages like Python or R. Knowledge of relational databases and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI). Awareness of data governance principles and modelling standards.
