Health Care Assistant
Overview
Join our team and support people in their own homes. Every day is different—help someone get ready in the morning, go for a walk, or be a friendly face and an ear to listen.
Responsibilities
Providing day‑to‑day care and support to vulnerable adults to enable them to live fully in their own homes.
* Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including use and care of aids and personal equipment.
* Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
* Assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
* Helping with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
* Supporting with medication administration.
* Contributing as needed to a person’s end‑of‑life care.
Schedule
Working usual shift patterns: mornings 7am – 1:30pm or 2pm, evenings 4pm – 10pm, alternative weekend shifts. Full‑time and part‑time openings available.
Qualifications
* Right to work in the UK.
* A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* No prior experience required, but you must demonstrate compassion, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and be committed to delivering high‑quality, respectful care.

* Rates £13.00pm – £16.60pm (pay twice weekly).
* £0.35 per mile (additional mileage paid if distance between consecutive calls is greater than 4 miles).
