Specialist Teaching Assistant
An independent, specialist day school providing high quality education for boys and girls are looking for extra support for its pupils. The school, based in Chorley, caters to the needs of pupils with a range of needs including social, emotional, and mental health needs. Along with speech, language and communication difficulties and autism.
If you are a nurturing, pro-active, confident individual who has a genuine passion for supporting people then we want to hear from you. If you have had experience with supporting children or adults before, personally or in a work setting then you could be perfect for the job.
Duties
* Support pupils throughout the school day and adhere to individual timetables.
* Support pupils across the specialist provision and develop a good relationship and rapport with the pupils to enhance their experience.
* Encourage and help pupils to support their speech, language and communication development.
Key Information
* Full-time role, Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30pm) start date ASAP or 1st September 2024.
* Term-time only role.
* PAYE contract.
* SEMH Provision.
* Chorley based (PR7).
* Competitive hourly rate of pay of £12.90+ per hour depending on experience and additional duties.
* No educational setting experience required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
