Hands-on management of the facilities, infrastructure, and assets of the WDSL business through effective employment of your skills and a network of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure high levels of availability in a safe, cost-effective, and world-class manner. Work in accordance with WDSL's goals, targets, and legislative/statutory requirements, coordinating activities to meet objectives set for the area of responsibility. Undertake any activity deemed reasonable and appropriate for this position.
As Facilities and CNC Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Helping to improve and maintain the availability of all CNC and manual machinery, plant, and infrastructure at all WDSL facilities through a Preventative Maintenance program.
2. Implementing current HSE legislation, including certification, monitoring, and inspection in areas of responsibility.
3. Assisting in maintaining building security at all WDSL facilities.
4. Ensuring the availability of facilities, equipment, and machinery to maximize business productivity.
5. Participating actively in the delivery of facilities projects according to schedule, budget, and requirements.
6. Engaging in safe and effective day-to-day maintenance activities across all Wartsila Defence facilities.
7. Managing the availability of machinery, plant, and infrastructure through Preventative Maintenance.
8. Maintaining, improving, and reporting on key performance indicators related to industrial standards.

Minimum requirements include:
1. 7-10 years' experience in maintenance or facilities management.
2. Experience in preventative and reactive maintenance of manual and CNC machining centers.
3. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, and mechanical systems is advantageous.
4. Proven experience in large, complex projects.
5. Teamwork and independent working experience.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, complex maintenance programs, and desirable SAP experience.
