Overview
We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and self‑motivated specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our supportive team based at East Surrey Hospital. The service is growing rapidly and includes mixed caseloads of stroke, critical care and voice specialities.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist speech and language therapy on general medical and surgical wards.
* Actively participate in the SLT‑Led videofluoroscopy clinic and provide inpatient FEES service.
* Develop competencies in videofluoroscopy and FEES with support from specialist practitioners.
* Work autonomously and collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.
* Maintain clinical supervision and engage in robust CPD programmes.
Qualifications
* Advanced knowledge and experience of speech and language therapy in general medical and surgical settings.
* Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing service needs and remain self‑motivated.
* Experience working as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
