The Opportunity As a Strategic Marketing Manager, you will shape the EAME marketing strategy plus other global plans that drive growth across engines, parts, and for both the Caterpillar and Perkins brand. You'll be the regional marketing leader and trusted partner providing direction, insight, and alignment across Marketing, Product Groups, Dealer/Distributor Development, and Sales teams worldwide. This role is central to delivering the Industrial Power Systems growth agenda and ensuring our marketing strategies translate into measurable business results through actionable plans working with wider marketing team. What You Will Do Develop the multiyear global marketing strategy in partnership with other marketing and sales teams, with direct accountability for EAME plans that support engine and parts sales growth - translating business success into actionable operational plans. Lead stakeholder alignment across regions and functions, shaping growth plans and translating them into clear, insight led marketing plans aligned to annual budgets and in collaboration with the marketing communications team for execution. Mine customer insights and sales data to develop innovative, customer centric programs, collaborating closely with teams to represent the true voice of the customer. Evaluate marketing channel performance using multi-platform analytics and translate results into recommendations that strengthen targeting and execution tactics understanding dynamics of different countries across the region. Co-create a global content strategy with marketing peers to elevate brand recognition, sharpen value messaging, and fuel growth. Build strategic customer relationships, turning key partners into strong advocates and co-creating joint marketing plans that support long-term growth. Collaborate across the organisation with sales, marketing, product teams, dealers, and distributors to continually enhance the quality, agility, and impact of regional marketing activities. What You Will Have Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations. Ability to promote and embed new marketing approaches, including digital, social, and go-to-market strategies. Strong creative thinking balanced with analytical rigour to deliver innovative and effective marketing solutions. Customer Focus/Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization and customer needs. Demonstrated experience within marketing, preferably B2B, with a broad business background and strong industry knowledge. Strategic thinker with experience developing comprehensive marketing plans, supported by strong analytical and project management skills. Metrics-driven marketing mindset, using data and insight to inform decisions and optimise outcomes. Makes sound recommendations when faced with complex and contradictory alternatives. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Natural communication skills, enabling the development of collaborative and cooperative working relationships. Ability to clearly articulate ideas, influence outcomes, and problem-solve effectively when challenges arise. Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
