We are seeking an experienced, responsible, hands-on Facilities Manager to join our team at our Brand-New School, New Options Autism School near Stapleford in Nottinghamshire.
As Facilities Manager, you will support our pupils and young people by ensuring our sites are well maintained and equipped to meet their needs.
This is a great opportunity to work with a team dedicated to helping pupils with varied and complex needs. You will take pride in maintaining our school, from daily repairs to risk assessments, security procedures, equipment checks, and contributing to school development projects.
Consistency is key for many of our pupils, and our Facilities Manager ensures everything runs smoothly and safely.
Previous experience in a similar setting is essential, including DIY skills, motivation, and personal qualities. This role is ideal for individuals with maintenance, DIY, and health and safety skills who want to make a real difference in pupils’ lives and futures.
You will be quality-focused, efficient, able to work at pace, and motivated to provide a safe, caring environment where every pupil can thrive.
About us
Our New Options Autism School – Hemlock Stone School in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, will have a capacity for 66 pupils and is scheduled to open in March 2026. The school will cater for pupils with ASC and Complex Needs.
We are looking for a Facilities Manager to support the setup of the school.
