Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Bolton that is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional looking to make an immediate impact in a diverse and supportive school environment.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
Offer tailored assistance to students with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Help maintain a positive, safe and productive classroom environment
Essential Requirements
Please note: Only applicants with prior experience working in schools or educational settings will be considered.
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
A Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning (CACHE or equivalent)
Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school
A strong understanding of secondary school expectations and routines
Highly Desirable
Demonstrable experience supporting EAL learners
Confidence adapting support strategies to meet diverse learning needs
A proactive, flexible and professional approach
