About the Role: As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support the learning, social development, and emotional growth of students with SEMH needs. Responsibilities: - Implement personalised support plans tailored to the needs of each student, promoting independence and personal growth. - Create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters trust, confidence, and positive relationships. - Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and multidisciplinary staff to deliver comprehensive student support. - Monitor and record student progress, adhering to school and individual support plans. - Support students in managing behaviour and developing social and emotional skills. - Assist with daily routines, including personal care where required, with dignity and respect. - Encourage student participation in learning activities using effective communication and motivational strategies.
