We are recruiting for an experienced Headteacher for Upton Grange School in Slough. Our well-established school supports pupils with Autism from ages 5 to 11 years old.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring Headteacher to join our team. You will focus on improving academic performance, supporting behavioral and social development, and raising aspirations.
As Headteacher, you will uphold our vision of ‘Thinking and Learning Differently’ and promote high-quality, creative learning tailored to our pupils' complex needs. The role involves travel across the Hillingdon Manor group of schools (4).
Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will provide dynamic leadership, ensuring the development and promotion of the school's vision, continuous improvement, and outstanding outcomes for students. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and the Regional Director to deliver exceptional educational and therapeutic provision.
Requirements include:
1. Relevant experience working with young people with additional learning and communication difficulties.
2. Experience as a Head Teacher or Deputy Head in an SEN school.
3. Experience with Ofsted procedures and working with School Improvement Partners.
4. Effective management of budgets and financial compliance.
5. Relevant Teaching Qualification.
