This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading organisation with a strong reputation across retail and feed operations, supporting a broad and diverse customer base.Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accounts receivable function, ensuring customer accounts are managed effectively, payments are collected within agreed terms, and strong customer relationships are maintained. This role would suit an organised and proactive finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong working relationships across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage customer accounts to ensure they remain within agreed trading terms and credit limitsReview customer accounts on an ongoing basis to assess credit risk and monitor trading activityOpen new customer accounts, processing credit applications and carrying out credit checks in line with company policyProcess and allocate customer payments accurately and prepare daily bank lodgementsProactively contact customers via telephone, email, and written correspondence to recover outstanding balancesNegotiate and manage payment plans where accounts fall outside agreed termsMaintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions on internal systemsAttend and contribute to monthly credit meetings with sales teams and managementWork closely with customers to resolve account disputes efficiently and professionallyWho Were Looking ForPrevious experience in a Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or finance-related roleStrong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationshipsExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workloadStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelWhats On OfferCompetitive salary10% performance bonus1 day working from home after probationOpportunity to join a stable and reputable business within the agri-sectorOngoing training and career development opportunitiesIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, get in touch with Diarmuid for a confidential discussion.Benefits:Work From HomeWHJS1_NI
