Your new role
As a supply teacher, you'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your role may include:
1. Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
2. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment
3. Adapting quickly to different school settings and routines
4. Providing feedback to school staff on pupil progress and classroom activity
5. Supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the school day
What you'll need to succeed
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in children's lives
8. Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
9. The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and routines
10. A positive, proactive attitude and excellentmunication skills
11. Up-to-date knowledge of the primary curriculum
