Roles & Responsibilities :
Supporting with daily activities and personal care.
Duties
* Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
* Provide patient care and support in personal hygiene and mobility.
* Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' conditions.
* Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including medication administration as required.
* Engage with clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
* Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care needs.
* Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to provide comprehensive care.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in caregiving or related fields. Preferred qualifications include:
* First aid and CPR certification.
* Previous experience in home health, hospice care, nursing homes, or long-term care settings.
* Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring.
* Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities.
* Knowledge of cleaning protocols in healthcare environments. This role is ideal for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of others while providing compassionate support in various caregiving environments.
