Job Title:Multi Skilled Engineer
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estatemanagement. We are recruiting aMulti Skilled Engineerto join the teamlocatedinGlasgow.
The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment and Building Services.Role Summary:
1. Identifyand manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including updating drawings,identifyingcritical spares, improving performance of machinery,improvingand implementing the preventative maintenance program
2. Using new equipment and technologies tomaintaina working production environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain machinery PPM’s
3. Fault finding on all types of Machinery
4. Support others in the department in relation to Health and Safety
5. Provide Electrical and Mechanicalexpertiseto the Maintenance Department working on Heavy Industrial Machines and Overhead Cranes
6. Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arise from them safely and accurately
7. Completion of the required documentation as specified with the requirements of all rules and legislation
8. Work on Three Phase Systems with Voltages up to 440V
9. Working on Motors, Gearboxes, Valves encompassing Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Systems
10. Use Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance System
11. Use of emailing / calendars to plan your daily work requirements so that all tasks are completed effortlessly and efficiently.
12. Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately asrequired
13. To be the responsible person whenrequiredfor the department and deputise the Shift Leader during annual leave or sickness
14. To work overtime as and when the businessrequires, this may include nights and weekends to which notice may not always be given
15. Performadhocduties as and whenrequired
Experience Required:
16. A Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship
17. Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance
18. Electrical Competences / Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition
19. Mechanical Competences / Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild’s Mechanical
20. Good multi skilled ability
21. Experience working on 3 phase motors,drivesand inverters
22. Hydraulic / Pneumatic Experience
23. Ability to fault find
24. PLC Diagnostics / Repair Competencies
25. NVQ Qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical
26. Ability to supervise contractors
27. Able to write Risk and Method Statements
28. Able to understand and write Permits
