Michael Page are actively working with a long standing client who are searching for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team in Leeds City Centre on a permanent basis. My client is looking for a hard working, ambitious individual that has gained experience in transactional finance duties, and is looking to progress over the long term. Job Description
3. Process and coding manual invoices
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
5. Chasing individuals for timesheets and outstanding documentation.
6. Multitasking across finance and administrative duties, including last minute travel bookings.
7. Working in a fast-paced, reactive environment with shifting priorities.
8. Performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
9. Taking direction and working collaboratively within a structured Finance team.
10. Manage the finance inbox and handle general finance-related administrative tasks.
11. Support the setup of new suppliers, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified in accordance with company policy.
12. Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of integrity in handling financial data.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
13. Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant position
14. Educational background is preferred but not essential (Degree in Finance/Accounting, AAT Studier)
15. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
16. Hard working individual
17. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and colleagues.
18. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
