About This Role
Role: HRIS & Payroll Assistant
Reporting to: HR Manager
Location: Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College campus
About the Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, the post holder will administer accurate and effective HR processes and transactions and manage the HR database. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, experienced in administration and database management, preferably in an HR setting. An understanding of HR processes is helpful but not essential. Success is driven by logical thinking, proactive deadline management, and strong communication skills.
The role offers full training and development in HR. It is suitable for someone looking to start or develop a career in HR, or for an experienced administrator. It is full‑time but alternative working patterns may be considered for the right candidate.

What We Are Looking For
* Experience managing an HRIS, building queries and reports.
* Computer literacy with proficiency in HRIS.
* Analytical skills with ability to collate and present data.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
