About the role: We are looking for Housekeeping Assistants who share our passion for excellence to join our friendly team. The role involves working across three main areas in the Hospice: housekeeping (cleaning and servicing), laundry and our In-Patient kitchen. As part of the role, you will be entitled to a premium for working unsocial hours. The rate is our standard hourly rate 'plus one third’ for hours worked on a Saturday. For hours worked on a Sunday or a public holiday, it’s our hourly rate 'plus two thirds’. Full training and support will be provided to help support you with your housekeeping career at Princess Alice Hospice. About you: You’ll be friendly, reliable and take pride in maintaining working standards and responsibilities. You’ll be able to use your communication skills to work effectively within a team, and with wider Hospice colleagues. You’ll also be comfortable working independently by yourself to complete necessary jobs and tasks. Perhaps you have experience already working within housekeeping, a laundry service, or customer service and you’re looking for your next opportunity where you can help make a difference.
