Our Banbridge based Client have an opportunity for a Quality Inspector.
As the Quality Inspector, you will oversee the production process, ensuring that all fabricated mechanical and electrical (M&E) products meet required quality standards. You will conduct stage inspections and factory acceptance testing (FAT), escalating any quality issues to the Quality Control Manager.
Your role will include paint inspection, modular fit-outs, plantroom installations, torque record validation, audit support, and compilation of inspection reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, measuring, and reporting on materials and products, ensuring that quality control processes are effectively implemented across all fabrication stages.To be considered you will have to have a Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within M&E or manufacturing industries and a thorough understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques. 1. 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within M&E or manufacturing industries.
3. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
4. Strong mathematical and technical skills.
5. Thorough understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
6. Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
7. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Desirable Criteria:
8. Experience in weld inspection.
9. Understanding of electrical or mechanical schematics.
10. Certification in quality control (preferred).
11. Knowledge of inspection processes and best practices.
12. Familiarity with torque testing equipment and torque recording procedures.
13. Experience supporting quality audits and compiling related documentation.
