Teaching Assistant – Mental Health Autism ADHD
Location: Haywards Heath | Contract: Full-time, Term-time only | Salary: £90 to £105 per day
Join an innovative specialist school catering for boys aged 5-11 years with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), including those with Asperger’s Syndrome and those with a diagnosis of ADHD.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant – Learning Support Assistant – SEMH - Autism - Asperger’s Syndrome to support pupils to flourish. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to deliver tailored support and make a real difference in children’s lives.

The Role
* Support children in class, small groups and 1:1 sessions
* Provide emotional, pastoral and behavioural support
* Build positive relationships and help pupils communicate with confidence
* Assist teachers in delivering fun, engaging, inclusive lessons
* Safeguard pupils and attend training and meetings
About You
Experience is not essential — we provide full training. You should be:
* Passionate about working with children with Special Needs SEN
* Caring, patient, adaptable and a good listener
* A strong communicator and effective team player
* Keen to learn and develop professionally
