Security analyst
I’m currently partnering with a well-established organisation who are looking to add a Security Analyst to their Security Incident Response Team, supporting the protection and resilience of a large, business-critical environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys incident response, investigation, and continuous improvement within a maturing security function.
This role would suit someone with a solid IT background, strong security fundamentals, and a genuine interest in threat detection and incident response within a growing security function.
What you’ll be involved in:
1. SIEM monitoring and security incident response
2. Investigating and containing confirmed security threats
3. Digital forensics and evidence handling where required
4. Working with internal IT teams and external security partners
5. Improving detection capability through tuning and reducing false positives
6. Lessons learned reviews and driving improvements to controls and processes
7. Maintaining incident records, metrics, and security documentation
8. Supporting BAU security operations within a 24×7 environment
Key details:
9. Salary: Up to £51,000
10. Hybrid working: 3 days per week on-site in the West Midlands
