You will work collaboratively with technical specialists on a broad range of projects, lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related deliverables, work closely with clients, develop new business areas, and mentor colleagues.
Responsibilities
1. Leading the coordination and delivery of environmental work undertaken by multidisciplinary teams, including EIA, options appraisals, and environmental management.
2. Line managing a team of environmental professionals and liaising with Practice Management to coordinate the Environmental Management team in London.
3. Managing programme and commercial aspects, including budget control.
4. Championing high standards of environmental performance within engineering projects, influencing development and delivering optimal outcomes.
5. Managing client needs confidently and professionally; leading bid preparation and developing new business areas; undertaking CPD and mentoring staff development.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree or Masters in environmental or related sciences.
* Chartered status with relevant post-graduate experience, ideally in consultancy.
* Experience with major infrastructure projects.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental expertise.
* Leadership experience within multidisciplinary teams; report writing, presentation skills, and ability to review work for quality.
