Housing Officer – Specialist Supported Housing
📍 Location: South-coast (remote with travel to residents homes)
💰 Salary: £29,081.52 + car allowance of £5500

If so, we’re looking for a proactive and compassionate Housing Officer to join a dedicated team providing exceptional housing services to vulnerable adults.
🏠 About the Role
In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing a patch of specialist supported housing properties across a growing portfolio that supports adults with a range of physical and mental health needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and brain injuries.
You’ll work closely with care providers, local authorities, and health partners to ensure residents receive a high-quality housing service that helps them sustain their tenancies and thrive within their communities.
💼 Key Responsibilities
* Deliver responsive, person-centred tenancy management and support.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, care providers, and partners.
* Monitor health and safety standards, including fire actions and property conditions.
* Actively manage voids and tenancy sign-ups with efficiency and empathy.
* Support income recovery efforts and help residents access housing benefits.
* Address ASB sensitively, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment.
* Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified and escalated appropriately.
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Experience in social housing, ideally within a supported housing context.
* A positive, “can-do” attitude with a passion for service delivery.
* Strong communication and IT skills (Word, Excel).
* Understanding of housing legislation and welfare benefits.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
