Are you a lift engineer living in the London area? We are looking for an individual to diagnose, repair and maintain our portfolio of Cibes platform lifts.
Main Responsibilities
* Carry out routine checks.
* Isolate problems and carry out repairs.
* Respond to emergency breakdown call-outs.
* Demonstrate new equipment to clients.
* Complete the commissioning of new equipment.
* Refurbish or replace lift interiors, flooring, panel displays, communication systems, buttons, and lighting.
* Update written and computerised work records.
* Make sure equipment meets health and safety regulations.
* Produce risk assessment reports and legal and insurance documents.
* Manage responsibilities of allocated vehicle (service dates; insurance renewal dates/valeting etc.)
* Additional/different responsibilities in line with the position on occasion.
* Be willing to occasionally carry out overtime works in line with business needs or urgent customer requirements.
🧩 Skills and knowledge required:
* NVQ Level 2 in Engineering Maintenance (lift servicing).
* Experience in platform lift industry.
* The ability to repair machines or systems.
* Knowledge of building and construction.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
* The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.
* Safe and considerate working approach.
* Flexibility, persistence, resilience, and determination.
* Able to use a computer and relevant software packages competently.
* Full UK Driving Licence
* CSCS card
