£450-£500 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant for the Early Years of an excellent primary school in Altrincham, Trafford. This is a full-time role commencing asap.
The School:
1. Mainstream 2-form entry primary school in Altrincham
2. Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ with Outstanding features, the school is recognised for its strong curriculum and involvement in the wider community
3. Delivers a strong curriculum dedicated to giving children different opportunities in and outside of the classroom
The Role:
4. Full-time pupil support role providing targeted support to children within EYFS (Nursery and Reception) assisting with both academic and emotional development
5. Work closely with Class Teachers and SENCo – to ensure the highest level of support for children with additional needs
6. 1:1, small group support inside of the classroom as well in the school’s sensory room
The Candidate:
7. Holding a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
8. Experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred; however, we also welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in care, support work, sports coaching, or psychology.
