Clinical Pharmacist - Birmingham Division
Modality Partnership Birmingham Division has a part-time (24 hours) at Laurie Pike Health Centre and a full-time vacancy (37.5 hours) at Smethwick Medical Centre, for a Clinical Pharmacist. The postholder will be a high performing Clinical Pharmacist, providing expert pharmaceutical care to patients and playing a key role in optimising medicines and improving outcomes within primary care. Main duties of the job
* All-rounded, hands-on Clinical Pharmacist role with clinical assessments and treatment using medicines knowledge for specific disease areas
* Work in a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing role
* Run long-term condition clinics
* Undertake structured medication reviews
* Support prescribing quality initiatives
* Collaborate with GPs and other clinicians to improve patient pathways
* Contribute to system-wide projects and service improvement

Qualification and Experience
* Qualified pharmacist (UK)
* PgCert Pharmacist Independent Prescribing Qualification or equivalent
* Relevant experience in a healthcare setting as a Pharmacist; prescriber experience preferably in general practice
* Essential skills: excellent communication, attention to detail, customer service, computer skills, numerical skills, diplomacy, problem solving, leadership
* Essential personal qualities: commitment to CPD, flexibility, effective verbal/written communication, time management, teamwork
Other Requirements
* Pre-employment checks including vaccinations where required, right to work in the UK, and employment history disclosure
* UK professional registration required
* This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975; a DBS disclosure may be required
