About The Role
This is an 18‑month opportunity to join us as a Digital Product Owner (Capabilities). You'll work closely with an agile delivery team to shape the digital capabilities that underpin our English language learning and assessment products, helping ensure they work reliably for learners and teachers who use them every day.
You’ll be part of a cross‑functional product team and will take ownership of a defined set of digital capabilities. Your focus will be on understanding what's needed, agreeing priorities, and supporting delivery - making sure teams are working on the right things, in the right order, and with a shared understanding of what success looks like.
This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role. You'll work alongside developers, designers, and stakeholders, contributing to day‑to‑day progress and helping keep work moving when priorities, constraints, or assumptions change.
In The Role, You Will
* Own and prioritise a backlog, writing clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
* Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and operational teams to clarify requirements and agree priorities
* Use customer insight, testing, and product usage data to refine backlog items and improve outcomes over time
* Support delivery planning by identifying dependencies, risks, and trade‑offs early
* Help ensure feedback from users and stakeholders is reflected in future priorities
* Play an active role within the delivery team, supporting progress and resolving day‑to‑day blockers as they arise
For those new to a Digital Product Owner role, there will be the opportunity to do Agile Scrum Product Owner training early in the role.
About You
You have demonstrable experience working in digital product delivery and can show how you've helped teams move from requirements to delivered outcomes in a collaborative environment.
Essential Criteria
* Experience working as a Product Owner, or in a closely related digital product role, within an agile or iterative delivery environment

* Experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including technology and design colleagues
* A practical understanding of digital product development and agile ways of working
* Strong written communication skills, demonstrated through product documentation or delivery artefacts
If you meet the above minimum requirements, we encourage you to apply.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working on digital products in education, publishing, or learning technology
* Experience using customer research, testing, or usage data to inform product decisions
