Overview
Support Worker - Rosendale, Lydstep. Salary: £12.60 to £12.80 per hour. Full time: 43.4 hours per week. There are also a range of hours available including part time and nights. Plus an annual location allowance of £1500.
We’re a leading organisation dedicated to provide exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism. Located in Lydstep, Rosendale offers a calm, supportive and homely living environment for up to six adults from the age of 18. In the main house are four en‑suite bedrooms, a large lounge, a teaching area and a kitchen/dining area. There is also a 2-bed self-contained flat. Activities include beach days, cinema trips and swimming adventures.

Responsibilities
* Ensuring physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
* Support people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
* Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in individuals, celebrating achievements and milestones.
* Collaborate to tailor support to individual needs.
* Keep accurate records of activities, progress, and incidents as they arise.
* General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
Qualifications
* A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
* Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
* A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
* Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
