Education/Qualification
Essential criteria
1. Degree (BSc) in a specialist computing subject, coupled with post graduate degree or equivalent.
2. In-depth knowledge of IM&T systems and procedures acquired through a combination of specialist training and relevant study to degree or equivalent level.
3. structured training or through self-learning to meet the demands of a rapidly changing technology environment.
4. Advanced level training in at least one Web development software using ASP.NET, ASP, HTML.
5. Practical experience at advanced level using and developing Microsoft databases, spreadsheets and MS Office Solutions
6. Expert in the Advanced features of server and database management
7. Data input and data manipulation skills
Desirable criteria
8. PRINCE II Project Management Qualification
9. Accredited Microsoft training in SQL Server Administration
10. Practical experience in the project management of large complex Integration engine solutions
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
11. Substantial senior practical experience in the design and development of highly complex applications
12. Experience of Design & Development of Microsoft SQL Server working at an advanced level with SQL languages and MS SQL Functions
13. You will have expertise in some of the following areas: Enterprise Systems architecture, design & integration Healthcare sector data standards (e.g. HL7 v2 / v3 / FHIR) Web technologies (e.g. web services, XML/JSON, REST API’s.) Software development
14. Able to analyse problems and business requirements in a logical fashion and to transform these to technical proposals
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Analyses, interprets and resolves highly complex data/information problems Practical experience of designing, programming, developing and project managing new IT systems

17. Lengthy and broad working experience of NHS acute care organisations or equivalent

19. Experience developing integration solutions with HL7, Webservices/XML, Files.
20. Experience in implementing data validation and verification solutions to enhance data integrity and quality.
