A fast-growing professional services firm seeks a Software Engineering Manager on a permanent basis. You will sit on the tech leadership team, report directly to a Director, and help modernise platforms while bringing fresh ideas to the table. What's exciting about this role
You'll lead the full engineering and test function with a squad of capable developers across .NET, Azure, and modern frontend technologies You'll own application architecture and solution design end-to-end You'll shape a digital Centre of Excellence and tech product strategy This is a strategic, people-focused leadership opportunity, with hands-on engineering to back it up You can influence the future of engineering culture within a collaborative leadership team UK-based, remote-first with occasional team meetups in West Yorkshire What you'll need
Strong background in .NET/C# engineering with experience leading teams building scalable platforms Solid front-end experience (React/Angular), cloud-native design and Azure Proven experience leading software & QA teams with a culture of CI/CD, test automation, and modern practices Sharp thinking, clear communication, and ability to engage both engineers and executives Experience managing legacy systems and a passion for building something better How to apply
