Class 2 Wickes HIAB Home Delivery Driver

Role Profile
Wincanton are recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team working on our Wickes home delivery contract.
1. £32,000 per annum plus achievable legal compliance bonus of £1,920
2. 39 hours average per week (annualised contract of 2028 hours per year)
3. Working 5 out of 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday)
4. Starting at 0700 in the morning
5. ALLMI training will be provided for suitable candidates with no HIAB licence.
6. Inexperienced drivers will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
15. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multidrop and direct delivery of our customer’s products.
16. Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
17. A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business.
18. Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
19. To have pride in vehicle cleanliness
Experience and Qualifications
20. Must hold a valid in date Class 2 licence (Cat C)
21. Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
22. Must hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
23. HIAB Crane licence – ALLMI or equivalent an advantage however not essential.
24. Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage.
25. Have a positive, flexible attitude to work.
26. Good timekeeper, with the ability to work unsupervised.
A DBS check will be undertaken.
