Job Description We are seeking an experienced commercial insurance Account Handler to join an existing team. The role requires an individual with extensive commercial experience who is accustomed to managing GWP of £75,000 to £250,000. The ideal candidate will prioritise client interests in all decision-making processes, demonstrate adaptability in their approach, and exhibit an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service. Collaborate with Account Executives to serve as the primary risk advisor, maintaining allocated clients throughout the insurance cycle in strict adherence to internal KPIs; Ensure the timely preparation and submission of renewal quotations; Work diligently with Account Executives to continuously assess and adapt coverage to meet clients' evolving needs; Provide critical support for new business opportunities; Establish and cultivate robust relationships with a panel of insurers; Liaise effectively with other departments to compile comprehensive policy information, ensuring accurate risk presentation to insurers; Conduct thorough negotiations with insurer partners to secure the most competitive terms for business retention; Identify and pursue insurance cross-sell opportunities with utmost diligence; Meticulously create and maintain clear, accurate client files; Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in all aspects of the role; Consistently operate in strict compliance with FCA regulations, and actively identify process deficiencies within the broking team to facilitate ongoing enhancements.
