Complaints Officer - Kirkby in Ashfield, England, United Kingdom
Role is office based at Kirkby in Ashfield and will support the investigation, acknowledgement and response to complaints across various service areas.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the collation and review of information relating to expressions of dissatisfaction
* Acknowledge complaints in writing
* Support drafting of complaint responses and investigation notes
* Ensure complaints are handled in line with the Housing Ombudsman Service's Complaint Handling Code and the council's complaints policy/procedure
* Prepare complaint information for submission to the Housing Ombudsman Service
* Implement complaint learning outcomes, recommendations and orders
* Maintain accurate complaint records
Qualifications & Experience
* Knowledge of handling complaints in the social housing environment
* Good analytical and IT skills
* Awareness of the Housing Ombudsman Service's Complaint Handling Code (preferable)
* Complaint handling: 3 years (required)
* OR16890: 1 year (preferred)
Job Details:
* Hours: 37 hours per week, 5 days (Monday to Friday) with flexible hours between 8 am & 5 pm
