Psychology Graduate - Teaching Assistant

We're working exclusively with a welcoming primary school in merton who are looking for a Psychology graduate to join their team as a Teaching Assistant / Specialist Support. This role is all about intervention, emotional regulation, and building strong foundations for learning.
If you want real, hands-on experience (not just observing from the sidelines), this one's for you.
The Role
You'll be working supporting children at a crucial stage of development. Many pupils have additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH, so your day will be varied, meaningful, and fast-paced.
You'll be:
Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups
Helping pupils develop communication, emotional regulation and social skills
Using play-based and child-centred approaches to support learning
Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals
Making a genuine impact at the earliest stage of education

We're Looking For
A degree in Psychology or a closely related subject

Confidence to engage with children who need additional support
Any experience working with children is desirable but not essential
