Overview
As our Pre-School Room Leader, you'll take the lead in creating a joyful, well-organised and inspiring environment where children feel confident, capable and excited to learn. Are you a creative, confident and nurturing Early Years professional who loves seeing children grow into curious, independent learners? Our well established Wolverhampton team are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and experienced Pre-School Room Leader to guide and support our children in readiness for school. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, playful Pre-School environment and is ready to take the lead in delivering exceptional child-centred learning.
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a passionate team to deliver high-quality Pre-School learning
* Act as a Key Person, building positive, supportive relationships with families
* Plan rich, exciting and meaningful learning experiences that spark curiosity
* Ensure the room meets EYFS, safeguarding and health & safety standards
* Foster an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and understood
* Support, mentor and coach colleagues to continually develop their practice
* Champion reflective practice, creativity and a love of learning
Qualifications and Requirements
* Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Early Years qualification
* Experience working in a children's day nursery
* Previous Room Leader or Team Leader experience
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and SEND
* A warm, engaging approach to building strong partnerships with families
* A commitment to play-based, child-led learning that prepares children for school
Contract and Hours
Salary: £15.30 per hour | £31,824 per annum
Contract: Full-time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30am-6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays
