The Role We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our presence in Northern England. You’ll focus on generating new business, nurturing key relationships with clients, engineers, and contractors, and securing brand specifications to meet or exceed sales targets.
What You’ll Do
· Identify and influence projects at early stages to drive CMP product specification.
· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities using our CRM system.
· Develop strategic partnerships with OEMs, end users, contractors, and distributors.
· Conduct market analysis and track competitor activity to support sales and marketing strategies.
· Deliver product demonstrations and technical support.
· Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve complaints effectively.
· Represent CMP at industry events, exhibitions, and training sessions.
What You’ll Need
· Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally with technical products.
· Strong relationship-building skills and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
· Experience in the electrical contracting sector is preferred.
· Familiarity with hazardous area applications is a strong plus.
· Comfortable with regular travel across Northern England.
