A Head of Sales is required to join a fast-growing energy tech business that’s doing genuinely interesting work in the behind the meter energy and flexibility markets space. They’ve built a platform that helps asset owners and partners optimise and monetise their assets, and they’re now looking for a Head of Sales to take commercial growth up a gear across the UK and internationally.
This is a senior role with proper ownership. You’ll be responsible for shaping the sales strategy, building a repeatable sales engine, and leading from the front on major deals. You will lead on complex enterprise opportunities and closing £1m+ contracts, often with multiple stakeholders and a fair amount of technical and commercial nuance. Alongside that, you’ll hire and develop a strong sales team, put sensible structure around pipeline management and forecasting, and work closely with Product, Marketing and Customer Success to tighten messaging and improve conversion.
They’re looking for someone with a strong track record in B2B sales leadership, ideally within energy, infrastructure or energy trading. Experience using a structured sales approach (MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.) would be helpful, but what matters most is commercial judgement, credibility with senior stakeholders, and a history of delivering results.
