A digital services consultancy is looking for experienced User Researchers to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating impactful, user-centred services within the public sector.
You’ll be involved in multiple research engagements for bespoke software solutions and transformations within government/public sector!
Senior Consultant - Minimum of 5 years in consulting or public sector (ideally mentoring juniors and taking lead on client engagements)
Lead Consultant - Minimum of 8 years in consulting or public sector (directly line managing a UR team, contributing to growth and expansion, and taking a lead position with client projects)
Key Responsibilities of the User Researcher:
1. Taking lead on end-client engagement projects
2. Identify research needs and select the best research methods for each project
3. Develop, document, and present comprehensive research plans outlining study goals and methodologies
4. Engage with users through interviews, workshops, and ethnographic research to build meaningful insights
5. Analyse research findings and data to generate valuable insights and actionable recommendations
6. Synthesize and document findings with tools such as user stories, journey mapping, and storyboarding to convey the full user experience
