The Role
As a key member of the workshop team, you'll carry out a variety of mechanical repairs, servicing, and diagnostic work on modern vehiclesalways ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day, you'll:
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on cars and light vehicles
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
Replace components such as timing belts, clutches, and brakes
Use modern diagnostic equipment to pinpoint and repair issues
Complete road tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
Keep accurate job records and maintain a tidy workspace
About You
We're looking for a dedicated, hands-on, and dependable mechanic with a genuine passion for vehicle repair and customer satisfaction.
You'll need:
Minimum 5 years' experience in vehicle servicing and repair
A full UK driving licence
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and attention to detail
The ability to work independently or as part of a small, close-knit team
Your own tools
Desirable:
Experience with timing belts, clutches, and Hunter four-wheel alignment systems
