About the role:
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service? At Wessex Garages - Gloucester, we’re looking for a friendly and reliable Service Driver to become part of our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our brand — making sure every interaction reflects our high standards and commitment to customer care.
Whether you’re greeting customers or collecting and delivering vehicles, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring every experience with Wessex Garages is a great one.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Collecting and delivering customer vehicles promptly and professionally
2. Providing a warm and friendly service to all customers
3. Carrying out vehicle checks with customers and completing damage reports
4. Confirming and documenting payment methods
5. Liaising closely with our Service team to stay on top of collection requirement
6. Promoting the aftersales and sales department to create additional sales opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who is confident, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also need:
7. A full UK driving licence
8. Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
9. Basic IT skills
10. A positive, can-do attitude and a friendly approach
11. The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Key Information:
12. Working Pattern: 47.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri, 8am – 6pm
13. Salary: £30,158.70
