We are seeking a Head of Strategic Professional Services Operations, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a strategic leadership position designed to act as a bridge between high-level business strategy and global execution within our Professional Services (PS) organization.
This role goes beyond traditional operational oversight. You will be responsible for shaping how our services scale and deliver value, working at the intersection of Finance, Sales, Product, and Delivery. As a trusted advisor to the executive suite, you will lead complex cross-functional initiatives, ensuring that our operating model evolves in sync with our global SaaS growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operating Model Ownership
* Define and evolve the global PS operating strategy, ensuring full alignment with company-wide ARR and retention goals.
* Act as a strategic partner to the COO and PS leadership, translating long-term vision into actionable execution roadmaps.
* Drive the transition toward advanced delivery models (e.g., sourcing and locations, cross-portfolio initiatives, accelerated delivery) to optimize delivery.
Cross‑Organizational Change & Transformation
* Lead large-scale transformation initiatives involving Sales, Finance, and Product to ensure a seamless \"Quote-to-Value\" process.
* Facilitate organizational alignment in a fast-paced environment, turning diverse stakeholder perspectives into a unified execution strategy.
* Build and maintain frameworks for Change Management, ensuring high adoption rates for new processes and methodologies.
Business & Financial Partnership
* Partner closely with Finance and Services leadership on revenue and margins.
* Ensure Professional Services performance is understood as a business driver, not just a delivery function.
* Develop scalable capacity models that support annual growth without compromising delivery quality.
Executive & Stakeholder Leadership
* Work directly with senior leadership and executives as a trusted, credible, and assertive partner
* Influence without authority, align diverse stakeholders, and move decisions forward
* Serve as a unifying force across functions, geographies, and leadership levels
Requirements
* 8+ years of experience in Professional Services Operations, Services Strategy, Delivery Excellence, or similar roles within a global SaaS / Born‑in‑the‑Cloud environment.
* Proven experience leading strategic, cross‑functional initiatives with executive stakeholders.
* Track record of reporting to or working closely with C-level executives (COO/CFO/CHRO).
* Strong understanding of Professional Services business dynamics: delivery models, governance, capacity, utilization, and financial drivers.
* Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels: from defining direction to driving outcomes.
* Strong Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of P&L management, margin optimization, and SaaS business metrics.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence, challenge, and lead change.
* Comfortable operating in ambiguity, complexity, and fast‑changing environments.
* Hands‑on mindset with a strong bias toward action, impact, and results.
