Job Description
The ER Partner is responsible for managing a team of ER Specialists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality employee relations support across the business. This role combines operational ER case management with leadership responsibilities, including coaching, capability building, building an inclusive culture and strategic risk management.
Key responsibilities of an ER Partner:
1. Lead and develop ER Specialists, providing coaching and feedback to build capability.
2. Oversee complex ER cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policy.
3. Monitor ER trends and proactively implement strategies to mitigate risk.
4. Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, and senior stakeholders to influence ER decisions.
5. Drive cultural change initiatives and support organisational projects related to ER.
6. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of ER metrics for leadership review.
7. Represent ER in union consultations and negotiations where required.
