Role:Relief Technical Operator - P Plant, B shift

What will this role achieve?
As a Relief Technical Operator,you’llwork with a team on the production line to pack and feed biscuits, in line with site’s guidelines.When required, you will stand in as a Technical Operator. Technical Operators are accountable for carrying out tasks within the machinery.
We’relooking for someone who takes initiative, has a positive attitude, and works well in a team while keeping production standards high. Must want to progress within your team as you will be trained to step into the permanent role when needed. You will move lines across the factory as and when required.
What will be your key deliverables?
1. You will pack products within specifications (includes bending, lifting, stretching)
2. Use visual check for foreign matter / hazards
3. Ensure the quality of biscuits packed meets product specifications
4. Ensure adherence to all quality and safety standards.
5. Work to a high standard, enabling plants to achieve planned output.
6. Report any problems to ATM/Supervisor
7. Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are upheld.
8. Support the Supervisors in the introduction and support of any improvement initiatives.
9. Provide a co-ordinated link with all production processes on the line.
Technical Operator responsibilities
10. Prioritise and agree allocation of tasks within Technical Operator Team
11. Own Supply Chain Excellence in your area by leading Tiered Meetings and managing SCE Boards
12. Maintainhigh standardsof work and take initiative to drive continuous improvement in the area
13. Carry out all pre-start checks
14. Make sure the product meets the correct quality and specifications throughout your shift.
15. Understand equipment and machinery set up
16. Complete changeovers according to procedure and carry out any rework procedures asrequired.
17. Carry out machinechangeovers
18. Check product quality andspecifications, andadjust machines to keep it consistent.
19. Complete all paperwork to the required standard.
20. Alwaysmaintaineveryday factory standards safely
21. Shift handovers are completed in area and to agreed agenda
22. Train peers and new operatives in equipment use and procedures whenrequired
23. Undertake basic problem diagnosis and maintenance
24. Ensure team understand the planning of their daily tasks
25. Communicate directly with relevant person to resolve any issue
26. Prioritise and agree allocation of tasks within Technical Operator Team
27. Machine fault identification,diagnosisand rectification (where applicable)
28. Confirm and prioritise production activity in line with production plan
