Overview

Dixons Windows And Doors is a well-established and growing supplier of premium windows and doors, known for our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We're currently looking for a motivated and organised Office Assistant & Sales Order Processor to support our busy team.

This is a dual-role position ideal for someone who enjoys a varied day and has strong administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail. You'll be supporting both general office operations and playing a key part in ensuring accurate sales order processing.

Duties

* Sales Order Processing and Designing:
* Accurately enter, design and manage customer orders for windows, doors, and associated products into the company design software. - training is available on the job.
* Review customer specifications and ensure all details are correct before passing to production.
* Communicate with internal departments (sales, production, and dispatch) to coordinate order fulfilment.
* Respond to customer enquiries and provide updates on order status.
* Assist in generating quotes, processing order amendments, and handling returns or issues.

Office Administration:

* Answer and direct incoming calls and emails professionally.
* Maintain office supplies and organise incoming/outgoing post.
* Update databases, filing systems, and maintain accurate records.
* Provide general administrative support to the wider team as needed.
* Assist with basic finance tasks such as processing invoices or filing receipts.

Skills

* Proficiency in Sage for financial management and record keeping is highly desirable.
* Strong computer skills
* Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
* Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Demonstrated clerical skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Effective phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and colleagues.
