Pay Rate: £90 to £120 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive secondary school in Bury as soon as possible. This full-time, long-term position will be based within the school's RE Department, providing specialist 1:1 support to pupils with EHCPs.
The role will involve working closely with teaching staff to adapt lessons, deliver targeted interventions, and ensure each pupil's individual learning needs are met. The successful candidate will have a nurturing approach, strong communication skills, and experience supporting students with additional learning needs within a secondary school setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential in an inclusive and caring environment.
Requirements:
Experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or similar role
Strong understanding of supporting pupils with EHCPs or additional needs
Ability to build positive and supportive relationships with pupils and staff
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
