The role A great opportunity has opened up within the rapidly growing Singer Instruments Quality Department. If you have an interest in robots, and working in a tight team, this may be the role for you. Your role will ensure the product quality control testing of Singer Instruments existing products is high, while undertaking quality related projects and supporting the development of the Quality department. In short, this is the front line of making sure our robots behave the way we want them to, and letting people know when they don’t. There will be an opportunity to discuss testing with the team, learn laboratory practices in a microbiology environment and get hands on with robotic products powering high throughput science around the world. What your typical day might look like… Quality testing of Singer products Preparation of quality control reports Communicating test results Quality test data analysis Working to overcome any quality issues with other department stakeholders Quality related laboratory work Quality related project work Assisting with the continued development of the Quality department The team You will be joining a small dedicated team working alongside other QC Technicians, QC Supervisor and the Quality and S&S Manager.
