A friendly and forward‑thinking primary school in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and knowledgeable Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis.
This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting learners especially in years 5-6, delivering engaging lessons and fostering independence, curiosity and academic progress. What You’ll Be Doing
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons tailored to the KS2 curriculum
* Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
* Use assessment to track progress and inform next steps
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of a diverse range of abilities
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
* Establish a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment
* Contribute to wider school life, curriculum development and enrichment activities
* Maintain safeguarding, behaviour and school policies consistently

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who have:
* FQT status (ECT willbe considered)
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
* Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, structured lessons
* Excellent communication and classroom‑management skills
* A nurturing, resilient and proactive approach
* The ability to build positive relationships and motivate learners
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN or EAL (advantageous)
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
