A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious healthcare manager to join the senior leadership team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as Head of Operations for Private Care.
Accountable to the Divisional Director of Operations, the Head of Operations is part of the Private Care divisional triumvirate working in partnership with Clinical Director and Lead Nurse. The Head of Operations is responsible for the delivery of Private Care across the Trust, including financial, quality, performance, productivity, and workforce targets, as well as managing a large revenue budget.
Working alongside clinical leads, lead nurses, and midwives, the Head of Operations will lead and manage the Private Care operational team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services and strategic change programs.
The role requires establishing collaborative relationships with consultants and internal and external stakeholders to grow Private Care income and deliver the directorate business plan and strategic vision. The post-holder will primarily work at the Chelsea site, but will be expected to work across all Trust sites.

Private Care at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital provides services to UK patients (self-pay and PMI), international patients, and embassy-funded patients. The service has grown significantly and now includes services like The Kensington Wing, The Fertility Centre, The Chelsea Wing, Westminster Wing, Private Paediatrics, and Private Care at West Middlesex.
