Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dynamic, professional and friendly GP to join our practice team to continue to deliver the high standard of clinical care we currently provide.
The post holder must be dedicated, responsible, and driven to contribute to the innovative and forward thinking practice direction, and be a key team player.
They must have an awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. safeguarding, prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety etc.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential.
Contract:
Mix of routine work, and on-call/duty days
Supervising colleagues/allied health professionals and supporting trainees (GP registrars, Nursing students, Reception apprentices)
15 minutes appointments
All work allocated on clinical screen i.e. no hidden work
Working day(s) would be Wednesday, Friday and other tbc
Some evening and weekend may be required occasionally
Flexibility around start and end times and adherence to GP contract changes essential

MarysvilleMedical Practice is a developing and growing practice situated in the Belle Vuearea of Shrewsbury providing medical care for approximately 6300 patients. We area forward thinking team, keen to adopt and progress innovative ideas andsolutions whilst providing excellent clinical care. We are based in a purposebuilt two storey building, with modern facilities including a minor operatingsuite.

We useEMIS Web along with Anima, and Clarity Team Net
We have a dedicated Workflow admin team who look after Anima (prev. Docman) and Pathology, removing the majority of this from the GP workload.
We have all GP work on the EMIS screen in dedicated time slots which means there is no hidden work and start and end times are adhered to and encouraged so GPs are not expected to work longer than their normal finish time in usual circumstances.
We have 1 GP Partner and 1 Managing Partner, who work alongside Salaried GPs, 1 ACP, 1 ANP and 1 NP. We are a training practice so have GP registrars regularly.

The duties of the post are to provide a fullrange of general medical services as contained within the GMS contract
The post holder is expected to support the Partners of Marysville Medical Practice in providing all services outlined inthe GMS Core Contract and also in the aims and objectives of the Practice
The post holder is expected to support and inputinto the aims of the practice in areas of clinical governance, safeguarding, good practice,quality outcomes framework, enhanced services, practice audit, referral reviewand any other improvement plans as determined by the practice.
The post holder is encouraged to utilise anddevelop any additional skills for the improvement of services to patients.
The post holder is expected to maintain and keepgood standards of computerised clinical records at all times. Full involvementin any practice training and ongoing requirements of our status as a paperlesspractice is expected.

Qualifications
* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
* Evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)
* General practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained
* On/eligible to be on a medical performers list
* Enhanced CRB/DBS check
* UK driving license
* Current CPR certificate
* UK work permit (if required)
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Other Post Graduate Diplomas
